There are many endorsements on file at Geoff Long Music who have represented the Kawai brand in Tasmania for 35 years since 1982.

For over ninety years, Kawai has been building pianos, boldly pioneering the use of state-of-the-art materials and ideas to advance the piano art form. While there nine decades of experience and tradition have enabled the creation of remarkable touch and tone for today, it is their celebrated technology that powerfully preserves and sustains that outstanding touch and tone for tomorrow. All with a 12 year warranty.

This innovative spirit is the essence of Kawai — and the principal reason why Kawai remain a generation ahead in providing exceptional performance that endures.

Kawai Piano key surfaces:

Kawai’s exclusive NeoTex key surface material made of cellulose fibre offers the smooth, understated texture of natural ivory and ebony – and a semi-porous, silica-filled surface to absorb the hand’s natural oils and perspiration. Since NeoTex is used for both the sharps and naturals, the feel of the keys is consistent across the entire keyboard. NeoTex resists cracking and fading over years of use – and is static-resistant to help prevent the build-up of unwanted dust. The result is a beautiful, long-lasting key surface with exceptional playability.

Available in: all GX Series and Shigeru Kawai grand pianos, and K-500, K-600 and K-800 upright pianos
